After nearly 2 weeks, the #NHC will no longer issue advisories for #Lee! The system became Tropical Depression 13 on Tuesday, September 5th, and after a long, slow journey through the Atlantic Basin, the last of the tropical watches and warnings in effect have been discontinued. pic.twitter.com/ZIwc1SpDiJ

It’s too soon to know exactly what impacts #HurricaneLee will have for the Northeast U.S. coast and Atlantic Canada. But as Lee moves north, its wind field will expand, and hazards are likely to extend well beyond the center and forecast cone.

Hurricane #Lee has revived back to Category 3 strength with a reemerging eye. Currently creeping west-northwest, Lee is still forecast to turn to the north and stay offshore the U.S. East Coast but dangerous surf and rip currents are expected as Lee treks north and grows in size. pic.twitter.com/m7wshllWBA
