Un incidente aereo si è verificato sulla pista dell’aeroporto di Tokyo Haneda in Giappone alle ore 07:47 italiane (UTC+1) del 02.01.2024 ovvero le 15:47 locali (GMT+9). Un aereo Airbus A350-900 (JA13XJ), volo JL516 partito Sapporo con a bordo 379 persone (di cui 12 di equipaggio), al momento dell’atterraggio, autorizzato da ATC, ha investito un aereo della Guardia Costiera giapponese che si trovava in pista.
Entrambi gli aerei si sono incendiati dopo l’impatto.
Tutti i passeggeri e l’equipaggio dell’Airbus A350-900 sono usciti dal velivolo con gli scivoli di emergenza e non ci sono feriti (ad esclusione di alcuni con escoriazioni).
L’aereo della Guardia Costiera era un De Havilland Canada Dash 8-300 MPA DH8C (JA722A) carico di aiuti ed in partenza per Niigata colpita dal terremoto del 01.01.2024 (link). 5 persone sono morte ed una è rimasta 1 ferita gravemente.
